After completing a course in sound
engineering in Sydney, Australia, Dare moved back to London and got a
job as an assistant engineer at the Townhouse studios. Under his previous
name of Andy Mason, he started off making tea for famous artists and producers,
then graduated to house engineer and started to record and mix for famous
artists and producers. During this time he worked with the likes of Prince,
Paul McCartney, Boy George, Tina Turner, Ravi Shankar, Soul II Soul and
many others.
Dare Mason is also a composer and songwriter in his own right. An accomplished guitarist, singer and dabbler in keyboards, he usually ends up contributing musically to the artists he produces. Below is a list of some of his credits: |
